Private Home, Kfar Tavor

Commissioned The Friedland Family
Status Implemented, 2002

The private home is comprised of a sequence of interior and exterior "rooms" that blend into a unique architectural language.

The living room opens into a yard, shaded by a constructed pergola embellished with vines. The dining area opens into the southern courtyard. A separate housing unit has its own private yard.

The living room window overlooks and frames Mt. Tabor and the "picture" it offers changes throughout the day and the night.

The layout of objects on the plot and the finishing of the walls with different shades of plaster, combine to produce the Mediterranean architectural language.
