Pisgat Romema, Tel Aviv

Commissioned Hed-Even Ziv
Scope 18 housing units
Status Implemented, 1992

The building stands on a slope, using the topography to create private entrances, roof balconies and yards.

The architectural language of piled masses evokes the atmosphere of a Mediterranean village. The small alleys that lead to the apartments and the vegetation that "invades" all the outer rooms emphasize the "private" aspects of the communal apartment building.

The project was planned in cooperation with architect Danny Lazar.
