HIgh School, Kadima-Tzoran

Commissioned Kadima-Tzoran Municipality
Scope 36 classrooms and 30 additional spaces
Status Implemented, 2003

The school is a part of the community's educational center. The building is comprised of "joints" that connect the clusters of classroom to the additional spaces. These blocks are attached through interior paths and exterior green pergolas.

The school's division into clusters, enabled construction in stages, and each stage served as an independent and complete architectural unit. The spaces between the classrooms were designed for multi-purpose and diverse activities (breaks, events, etc.).

The cluster-structure creates a hierarchical system of outdoor spaces for the use of groups and individuals. The building is entered through a garden, enabling direct access to the communal library or to the lobby, and offering a view of the courtyards.
