Ben Yehuda Neighborhood, Kfar Saba
Competition proposal, 2003
Scope
Approximately 6000 housing units
Description
The proposal site plan connects the northern area to the existing urban fabric of the town.
Kfar Saba's urban fabric – a grid of pavements and roads that include greenery and public buildings – flows into the proposed construction area.
A "park square" – including all urban functions – will be situated at the "heart" of the proposed locality. The principle streets and boulevards will flow into this "heart", creating a rich urban fabric.
The proposal was submitted in cooperation with Poper-Barak Architects.
